Project Overview

This was an AI art experiment to generate Mahabharata-inspired characters for a custom board game. The goal was to build a consistent and thematic visual set using prompt engineering and image curation. Over 300 images were generated in under 20 hours.

Tools & Workflow

• Used ComfyUI for node-based AI image generation pipeline.
• Used Flux1.dev, an advanced AI model designed to generate detailed and consistent character images from text prompts.
• Ran iterative prompt tuning for character accuracy and visual style.
• Manually reviewed and selected high-quality outputs.

Design Goals

• Maintain visual consistency across different characters.
• Capture personality and symbolism of each mythological figure.
• Make the art style game-ready and visually compelling.

Output

Final assets include a curated set of character illustrations suitable for use in cards, tokens, or promotional art. The style is consistent and thematic, aligned with the epic tone of the game.

Reflection

This project highlighted how powerful AI tools can be for fast concept generation. Even without traditional design tools, clear visual goals and structured prompting led to polished results.
